Tales of the Cantina: Racheal interviews Bryan Young (Author and co-host of the Full of Sith podcast)
On May 17, 2012 Racheal Stinson had the opportunity to interview Bryan Young (Author and co-host of the Full of Sith podcast) and talk about his book, Operation Montauk. This is unheard audio that was intended to be only a guide to write the interview into blog form. A little over a month later on June 22, 2012 Racheal was killed in a car accident by a negligent driver. She was a journalism graduate from Ball State University and this is one of the last interviews she conducted and one, if not the longest clip of audio of her talking that we know of. Please help us welcome Racheal Ambrose Stinson to the Cantina, as now we can officially call her a co-host of the show!

Episode 59: Star Wars on Tap; the Pilot
Join us at the Cantina! Mike and Joao are accompanied by Chad, the newest addition to the Cantina Cast. Chad has been dubbed “Host” of the Cantina’s official audio blog; Star Wars on Tap. In this episode, the guys discuss the news by using the “Word Game,” filling in the ____. They confer about the spreading rumor on “No SW VII news at SDCC,” The Forest of Dean, and the two week halt on filming during the month of August. SWOT, the Pilot episode; “This is where the fun begins.” Chad takes his place in the pilot seat, no pun intended. Here the guys talk through the ideas of how SWOT originated and where future shows will be available to view/listen. After which, Chad leads the show in deliberating topics surrounding the current state of the SW fandom: influences, personal and canon POV’s, negative bashing amongst the fandom (is this now the norm?), discourse over the Disney merge, and most importantly, how should we, as “Fans” conduct ourselves? Even more so, those of us who hold a voice for the fans, aka Podcasters etc; shouldn’t there be a “Code of Conduct/Ethics?”

Episode 58: Padmé Disection
In this episode, Mike and Joao switch things up in an inventive and entertaining way; it’s a word game. Taking a play on words, the guys discuss the recent Star Wars happenings: Harrison Ford’s injury, just how bad is it? Will this hiccup detain movie production or worse, will it delay the release date? What’s up with JJ Abrams? Is he already burnt out on Star Wars? If not, why step aside for Rian Johnson to pilot the Falcon for episode VIII? Rebels, the messenger; is it or isn’t it Obi-wan Kenobi? How do we feel about this possible reemergence and what other familiar characters will we see? The boys are also joined by Becca as they analyze and explore the Mother of the GFFA; Padme Amidala. Her thoughts, decisions, actions, character growth, galactic responsibilities, and personal emotions are thoroughly examined by each member of the Cast. Yes, that’s right, each member. Mike and Joao officially welcome, Becca into the Cantina as their featured blogger for the Cantina Cast’s upcoming website.

Episode 57: Oops, we forgot to mention Billy Dee is in Rebels!
In this episode, Mike and Joao revive their anatomization of memorable Star Wars Quotes. Join them as they take a closer, in depth look at Obi-wan’s powerful statement, “You cannot escape your destiny.” They also discuss the latest News surrounding Star Wars VII, the Star Wars standalone movie(s), Battlefront 3 (E3 release date, or lack of), and Harrison Ford’s unfortunate mishap on the set of Star Wars VII. Listen in as they re-hash the most recent leaked photos from the set of VII and confer on George’s commentary, “I’m retired.” In closing, the Cast chews over the current updates on Sideshow Collectibles and they reveal some of their own impending projects that are currently “in the works!”

Episode 56: Ewoks vs Jar Jar Binks
Join Mike and Joao as they debate, which IS the bigger folly, the Ewoks or Jar Jar. They also discuss the latest news surrounding Episode VII, including: The Force for Change charity with the chance to win a “walk on role” to be in the movie, the announcement of Gary Whitta as writer, along with Gareth Edwards as director for the first Star Wars spin-off movie. Plus, the most recent and random Twitter pics from a few of the actors on location; how long will it take for some Star Wars goodness to leak out to the fandom? Listen in as they speculate and hash-it-out, Cantina Style.
