Show Notes
It's been a rough two years for the Jets, who have won just six of 33 games. The team does seem headed in the right direction, though, after Robert Saleh and Joe Douglas added Zach Wilson, Elijah Moore, Alijah Vera-Tucker, Corey Davis and Michael Carter during the 2021 NFL offseason.
Now, though, the team needs to take a major step. The Bengals, like New York, struggled for two years, too, before making it to the Super Bowl this year behind the promising play of Joe Burrow and JaMarr Chase. Could the Jets, with another strong offseason, do something similar in 2022? Maybe not Super Bowl, but the playoffs?
Connor Hughes and Tim McMaster look back at the Jets’ 2021 NFL Draft class and how a collaborative meeting among the staff impacted their selections now and for years to come. Plus, they discuss Super Bowl 56, how they can follow the Bengals blueprint, and wrap up with listener questions.
