Episode 98: She Credits Cannabis With Saving Her Life From an Opioid Addiction
Debbie Burt from Arizona was so addicted to opioids for her pain that she would sometimes snort them, and once even dragged the heavy safe (where her husband kept them) to him while he slept to try to get his thumbprint to deactivate the lock! When she finally had enough she went through detox and started taking cannabis. "It feels like I've opened my eyes for the first time in seven years," she says.
