Over a number of years he was on pharmaceutical drugs to relieve his pain, taking up to 23 pills a day. But the drugs came with serious side effects—including thoughts of suicide—which he admits he was only seconds away from committing. However, when he started using cannabis those suicidal thoughts began to disappear and he got his life back.
