In 2008 Michelle Saye was boating with friends on a lake in Washington State when a drunken boater smashed into them. One person was killed and Michelle had 18 inches of her tibia bone vanish after the boat propeller slashed her leg. Since that time she has had 19 surgeries to rebuild her leg.
