<p>Sebastian Aho notched his 5th career hat trick and Martin Necas added to his team-leading point total as Carolina beat Buffalo, 5-3, at PNC Arena. The Hurricanes are now 8-2-1 on the year, one point up on the Devils in the Metropolitan Division. Andrei Svechnikov, Teuvo Teravainen and Seth Jarvis all has a pair of assists and Jesperi Kotkaniemi scored his first goal of the season in the win. Antti Raanta allowed a couple of shaky first period goals, but rallied to play a very strong game for the final two periods as he runs his record to 3-0-1 on the year.</p>
