In a battle between the best teams in each conference, the Carolina Hurricanes beat the Colorado Avalanche, 2-0, at PNC Arena. Antti Raanta stopped 36 shots in the win as the Canes have taken their last 3 decisions. Ethan Bear's 3rd goal of the season deflected past Colorado's Darcy Kuemper late in the 3rd period to give the Hurricanes the lead. Sebastian Aho finished off the scoring into an empty net with a little more than 90 seconds left.
