The Hurricanes battled through a really tough first period with a 1-0 lead. Then they hit the accelerator and raced away from Boston, 6-0. The Canes sweep the Bruins 3-0-0 in the season series, outscoring them 16-1. Sebastian Aho scored 2 goals. Andrei Svechnikov and Teuvo Teravainen each had 3-point nights. Freddie Andersen rung up his 2nd shutout of the season against the Bruins. And, Jordan Staal scored his first goal in 36 games. It was a good night in Boston.
