Freddie Andersen get primed for the All Star Game with a stellar, 27-save performance in a 2-1 win over San Jose. Vincent Trocheck scored his 11th goal of the season to stake the Canes to an early 1-0 lead. Then, with just under 4 minutes left, Andrei Svechnikov's 16th broke a 1-1 tie as Carolina picked up a 2-1 win. The Hurricanes have now won 4 in a row and lead the Metropolitan Division with a 31-9-2 record and 64 points. Now, Sebastian Aho, Freddie Andersen and head coach Rod Brind'Amour will head to Las Vegas for this weekend's All Star Game.
