On a night when Carolina was down to 11 healthy forwards the Hurricanes thoroughly dominated the Islanders in a 3-0 win. Pyotr Kochetkov turned aside 16 shots, Paul Stastny scored his first goal of the season and Jesperi Kotkaniemi and Jordan Staal added 3rd period goals in the win. The captain's line, with Jordan Martinook and Stefan Noesen, was dominant -- again. Carolina is 4-0-1 on this 6-game road trip that ends Tuesday night in Detroit. In all, the Canes have gone 5-0-4 in their last 9 on the road and are 5-0-2 in their last 7 games.
