Show Notes

The Hurricanes kept it simple in their 3-2 win in Washington. They got to the front of the net to create traffic in front of the Capitals' goal. They got pucks through from the blue line and the Canes scored two of their three goals on net front deflections. Throw in 34 Freddie Andersen save and you have the recipe for a 3-2 win. Brent Burns, Paul Stastny and Stefan Noesen scored and Noesen added an assist hitting for 2 points for the 4th time this year. Carolina is off Wednesday before coming back to PNC Arena on Thursday to induct Cam Ward into the Hurricanes Hall of Fame
