With less than 2 minutes remaining, the Hurricanes trailed the San Jose Sharks, 4-2. But, Sebastian Aho's second goal of the period gave them a chance and Martin Necas' 20th of the year forced overtime. From there, just put Marty on the ice and go warm up the car. Necas scored his 2nd OT goal in as many games and his 3rd of the year. This one came off a feed from Andrei Svechnikov (2 assists) just 55 seconds into extra time. Antti Raanta got the win and extends his personal point streak to 11 games. The last time Raanta lost in regulation was November 12. Canes are back at it Sunday at 5:00 against the Boston Bruins.
