<p>Andrei Svechnikov and Jack Roslovic each had two goals and Martin Necas piled up 4 points as the Canes scorched the Bruins, 8-2, at Lenovo Center. Carolina got an early goal from Jack Roslovic to take a 1-0 lead. Then, after Boston drew even on the power play, the Hurricanes responded with 3 goals in a 52 second span to take a 4-1 lead into the first intermission. From there, the Canes just poured it on. Pyotr Kochetkov made 13 saves in the win as Carolina moves to 7-2 on the year. Necas leads the Canes with 15 points (5g, 10a) in 9 games. Svechnikov is second on the team with 10 points (4g, 6a). Jordan Martinook notched his 200th career point and Dimitry Orlov played in his 800th career NHL game. </p>
