<p>It wasn't how Rod Brind'Amour would draw it up, but the Canes beat the Islanders, 6-4, in a game that had everything. Mark Jankowski and Logan Stankoven scored 13 seconds apart early in the 1st period to put Carolina up 2-0. But, from there it was a goalie gong show for both teams. Seth Jarvis scored twice. Sebastian Aho had a goal and two assists. Dimitri Orlov had the GWG. The magic number to clinch a playoff spot is 2. </p>
