Show Notes
In November 1979, six Americans escaped when their embassy was overrun by students in Iran. For the next three months, they were protected and hidden by Canadians.
While the film Argo gave a different version of history, the truth is that Canada put itself on the line to help the Americans, getting them home in what is now called The Canadian Caper.
