The 2022 Edelman Trust Barometer is out. It is the most respected and longest running annual report about the state of trust globally, surveying 36,000 respondents in 28 countries. This year’s findings are truly alarming: distrust has become our default position, and major institutions in society are fueling the cycle of increasing distrust.
