Desh has directed & produced films such as ‘Islam: The Future of Tolerance,’ (about the famous conversation between former Islamic extremist Maajid Nawaz & noted atheist Sam Harris about Islam), as well as his latest project ‘Better Left Unsaid’ which looks at the world of political extremism. Desh founded Think Inc. in 2010, which was an intellectual touring company featuring speakers from Neil Degrasse Tyson to Sam Harris to Michio Kaku. The guys talked with Desh about his life story growing up in Sri Lanka, his work in the documentary space, the rise of political extremism, and the mission his new company This is 42 is on to 'make intelligence cool again.'
