In March 2024, Daisy Cox and Emma Lovick sat down with the Master of Jesus College, Sonita Alleyne, to mark the opening of a new Cam FM studio at the college. Sonita is a radio industry stalwart and founder of Somethin' Else productions, who produce a range of radio and podcast content for the BBC as well as commercial clients.
In the interview, Sonita shares the path she took into the radio industry, why she wanted a radio studio at Jesus College and some of her favourite songs ala Desert Island Discs (but not Desert Island Discs for copyright reasons).
