The Lord's Supper
On the night before His death, Jesus celebrated Passover with His disciples. We refer to this momentous meal as, “The Lord’s Supper”. During dinner, Jesus took two common elements, bread and wine, to show what would soon happen to Him. His body, symbolized by the bread, would be broken. His blood, symbolized by the wine, would be shed for the sins of the world. Communion is an important part of Christian worship. Discover more in part one of this series next Sunday!
