Matters of the Heart
The Pharisees prioritized man made religion over God’s Word. In doing so, they honored God with their lips, but their hearts were far from Him. Jesus’ message was exactly the opposite. The Lord emphasized an intimate relationship with the Father and focused on matters of the heart.
