Show Notes

35-year-old Robert Leigh Moore sentenced to 21 years for killing Aristeo Zambrano, a beloved auto shop owner, in Oakland. Moore shot Zambrano during an argument over a bad battery, then fled the scene. Zambrano, a former United Farm Workers advocate, was found dead behind the counter. Moores self-defense claim was dismissed due to surveillance evidence and lack of weapon on Zambrano. Moore was sentenced on March 19th and is now in North Kern State Prison.
