Levi Vargas, a dedicated Los Angeles County Sheriffs deputy, tragically passed away during the Baker to Vegas Challenge Cup Relay Race. Known for his professionalism and community spirit, Vargas served at the San Dimas Station. His colleagues remember him fondly, and he will be laid to rest in Southern California, survived by his family. A full police procession was held for his transfer to the morgue.
