In a thrilling shootout, the Calgary Flames defeated the Los Angeles Kings 3-2, ending both teams three-game streaks. Quinton Byfield scored twice for the Kings, but Olli Maatta and Zayne Parekhs goals forced overtime. Parekhs breakout game, with five shots and his first home-ice goal, was a highlight.
