Hello babes!
This weekend I am introducing you to David Richards ~ a former Marine, an Author, a Yogi and an all around incredible guy! He tells a story of forgiveness this week that is so POWERFUL that it had my jaw dropping during the telling. He also talks about his Near Death Experience that happened when he was a kid, and the fact that the memories returned later in life, to affirm something that David already suspected (is there a human soul or what?) makes it even more profound of a story. To check out what David is doing in this world, click here!
THANK YOU ALL FOR LISTENING AND FOR THE REVIEWS! THE HUSTLE IS REALLY, REALLY, REAL, AND EVERY REVIEW HELPS SO VERY MUCH!
I appreciate all the love and attention you give the pod everyone, it warms my heart!
Your bit of beauty is this: something regional from New Mexico!
Recently, some friends sent me video of a celebration-one that happened because they had just finished cleaning their acequia, for the 307th year in a row!!!! and every year, there's a huge party afterwards with community and friends.
You might not have heard that word, acequia, but in the high desert, they are needed lifelines...and centuries ago, were carved into the land to bring water to thirsty farmland and farms. It's a sacred tradition honoring the land, honoring the water, and honoring the ancestors. This here is just the trailer, but I encourage you to watch the whole film. It's a sweet reminder that sometimes humans can work in tandem with nature, and not against it.
