在面對複雜的公共議題時，大眾往往急著要一個清楚、非黑即白的答案，但一旦來到實際需要表態、做出選擇的政治場合，卻又退縮到「中立」的安全地帶，好像立場本身是一種原罪，這其實是本末倒置。
討論公共議題的理想狀態應該是：我們在議題辯論時，願意承認多元與模糊；但在投票、政策取捨或政治立場的選擇上，則是基於充足的資訊與思考，做出一個即便不完美的決定。
