Fast Fashion: The True Price of Cheap Trends
Fast Fashion involves the creation of readily available clothing that follows current fashion trends at a relatively low cost, emphasizing high-volume sales within a limited timeframe.
Each year, this industry produces a staggering 800 billion tons of clothing. However, a significant portion of these garments is worn only a few times before being discarded. Meanwhile, the workforce in this industry often earns insufficient income, despite being the ones producing the clothing.
This not only reflects the inequality between production labour and income in the industry but also raises a critical issue concerning the sustainability of resources.
