Metaplanet has significantly boosted its Bitcoin holdings, now ranking third globally with 40,177 BTC, valued at around $4.18 billion. Theyve surpassed MARA Holdings, buying an additional 5,075 BTC in Q1 2026, averaging $79,900 per coin. Metaplanets yield metric shows a 2.8% year-to-date growth. MARA sold 15,000 BTC in March, dropping their holdings to 38,700. Metaplanet aims to reach 100,000 BTC by year-end and 210,000 by 2027, potentially requiring $10 billion.
