The 1965 murder of Mary Ellen Deener, a 14-year-old Ohio girl, shocked the small town of Mansfield when she was brutally beaten and shot by Lester Eubanks, a monster with a history of violent crimes. Despite being convicted and sentenced to death, this dirtbag infamously escaped custody during a 'supervised' Christmas shopping trip in 1973. Lester has evaded capture ever since, leaving behind only haunting questions about how he managed to remain hidden and what other lives he may have taken along the way.
