In 1978, when Dan White took office, the political arena in San Francisco wasn't just cut-throat, it was outright murderous. The motives behind the assassinations of Harvey Milk and George Moscone were veiled under many agendas and have been the source of many different theories. In all the speculation, one thing is certain, this dirtbag's motive wasn't the Twinkies his defense would later become known for.
