Het is 1992 als de Bosnische burgeroorlog uitbreekt die de verhoudingen tussen de Kroaten, Bosnische Serven en Bosnische moslims verder opscherp zet. Als de conflicten ook de stad Sarajevo bereiken, besluit de22-jarige Lidija Zelovic tijdelijk Nederland te vertrekken. Maar terugkeren doet ze nooit. Vanavond in onze serie Zomerverhalen vertelt Zelovic over hoe ze kijkt naar het Bosnië van nu.
