Intermittent Fasting is one of the most amazing things I have ever come across with in the fitness world. #intermittentfasting #omad #fasting

The one meal a day (OMAD) weight loss plan promotes fast weight loss through restricting the time of day during which you eat and the number of meals you eat in a day. This type of diet has different forms, such as intermittent fasting, alternate-day fasting, or eating only one meal a day. It may also be referred to as caloric restriction. But, some people are afraid of hitting the gym without eating, for example. We are so used to hearing that we need to eat before lifting or doing any kind of exercise that it is actually scary to think that this might not be true.

The truth is: you do not need food before lifting or hitting the gym. In fact, there's no evidence that the food you eat right before the gym is actually used during the exercises.

In this first OMAD (One Meal A Day) series we are going to discuss the three main energetic metabolic systems your body uses to produce energy, how intermittent fasting can help you to lose weight and build muscle and how OMAD is the best intermittent fasting protocol.
