This week I spoke to a gathering of leaders of successful family businesses. Although I had attended meetings of this nature in the past four years, this was the first time I had spoken to such a group. I was a little stressed as I was not going to share a success story of the best way to pass on your business to the next generation, for I felt I had made most of the mistakes a founder can make. In fact my text was “For the foolishness of God is wiser than men, and the weakness of God is stronger than men.” (1 Corinthians 1:25)
