On today's episode I have a conversation with Brittany Simmons, a Leadership coach, speaker and trainer, about the importance of developing ourselves and how we communicate with the people around us.
Brittany shares that Leadership is not rank or position but instead it is the intentional application of influence in our lives (at home, at work and in our communities).
We also talk about Brittany's career in the Army and retiring as a Lt. Colonel and her stepping into new opportunities and what that was like. She now coaches and trains people around leadership and I love what she shares about going after the things that grab at our heart even when we are scared of the unknown and how we can take small steps to explore those promptings.
