Jamie D & Big Newt: Easing the emotions of Bills playoff loss
Now that the Buffalo Bills season has come to a conclusion at the hands of the Cincinnati Bengals, the expected surge of emotions are on the surface within Bills Mafia. Hosts Jamie D'Amico and big Chris Newton spend some time discussing what went wrong in the game, as well as what held them back in general. But D'Amico has a message for fans: it's not as bad as it seems right now. The Bills went 14-4 on the year and had a top rated offense and defense. There are things that need to change, but D'Amico points out that during the Super Bowl runs of the 1990s after each loss fans were ready to fire Hall of Fame coach Marv Levy and trade star players and fellow Hall of Famers Jim Kelly, Bruce Smith and others. In other words, there's a lot that went right in the 2022 season, but there is still analysis on what needs to improve. Jamie D & Big Newt: Bills playoff win is a good start
The Buffalo Bills vanquished the Miami Dolphins by a score of 34-31 in what turned out to be a hard fought game. Despite starting off hot and building a 17-0 lead, the tide turned in the second quarter. At that point people began questioning the play calling of offensive coordinator Ken Dorsey. Host Jamie D'Amico and big Chris Newton discuss whether the blame can be laid at Dorsey's feet, or whether the combination of sloppy play and a good Miami defense were the culprits. The conversation turned to the occasional sloppy play of the Buffalo Bills, including dropped passes, missed blocking assignments, and missed tackles, and the hosts discuss if those issues can prevent the Bills from winning the Super Bowl.
