Show Notes
Ohio State will have football media availability for the first time since the Rose Bowl late this afternoon and we are quite excited about it. We are expected to interview head coach Ryan Day, new defensive coordinator Jim Knowles, new offensive line coach Justin Frye, new cornerbacks coach Tim Walton and new safeties coach Perry Eliano. What are we most curious to hear about from the coaches? Steve Helwagen joins Dave Biddle to discuss that, plus:
* The Cincinnati Bengals are going to the Super Bowl and they have four starters who are former Buckeyes. Well, five including Joe Burrow. (Hey, Burrow has a degree from OSU and was on the team for three seasons. He counts. Wait, does he count?)
* Resuming a topic from Friday's show, what would Steve think about the Big Ten eliminating divisions? Or would he prefer to keep the East and West?
* Steve was in West Lafayette for Ohio State's near-incredible comeback at Purdue in basketball yesterday. The Buckeyes fell short, but are we encouraged by this team overall?
All of that and more is coming your way on the Monday 5ish.
