It appears to be a very strong year in the state of Ohio for 2021 recruits.
Ohio State has already landed verbal commitments from the three highest-ranked prospects in the state: defensive end Jack Sawyer, offensive tackle Ben Christman and wide receiver Jayden Ballard.
The Buckeyes also have a commit from the No. 6 player in the state, linebacker Reid Carrico, and the No. 11 recruit in the state, safety Jaylen Johnson.
