It's time to unveil the closest thing to an official preseason Big Ten poll, as for the 11th year cleveland.com surveyed media members from around the Big Ten since the conference itself doesn't do it. On this Wednesday Buckeye Talk, Nathan Baird, Doug Lesmerises and Stephen Means reveal and discuss the votes of 34 media members on:
- The full 1-7 predicted finish in each division, and the projected Big Ten champion.
- The Preseason Offensive Player of the Year, where 12 different players got first-place votes.
- The Preseason Defensive Player of the Year, where six different players got first-place votes.
- The best coach in the league, which isn't an award but just a survey of opinions about the football bosses in the conference.
