On this Thursday Buckeye Talk episode, Doug Lesmerises interviews Ohio State defensive back Lloyd McFarquhar to get a first-hand look at what it's like in the transfer portal. McFarquhar joined the OSU program as a preferred walk-on in 2018 and after four seasons in scarlet and gray, he was interested in maybe finding a school where he could play more. So while he continues to work out with the Buckeyes, he has been talking with teams and thinking about a transfer for the fall.
What's the process of going in the portal? How did the OSU coaches handle it? Who were the receivers McFarquhar loved to match up with in practice while running on the scout team?
