Ohio State hired Jocelyn Gates as the senior associate athletic director who oversees football. She will have a lead role in setting the Buckeyes' future football schedule.
Former North Carolina kicker Noah Ruggles announced his commitment to Ohio State as a graduate transfer. He will compete with Jake Seibert for kicking duties this fall.
Kaleb Brown, a top-100 receiver from Chicago's St. Rita High School, became the 13th commitment and third receiver in Ohio State's 2022 recruiting class.
