Biography for Dr. Berger:

Dr. Berger is a leading orthopedic surgeon specializing in minimally invasive hip and knee replacement surgeries. His innovative techniques allow patients to recover more quickly with less pain than they would with traditional replacement surgery. With a degree in mechanical engineering from MIT, Dr. Berger has developed specialized surgical instruments and techniques that minimize damage to muscle, tendons, and ligaments. These advancements enable most of his patients to walk independently and leave the hospital on the same day as their surgery. Additionally, his engineering expertise has led to the creation of gender-specific implants designed to fit and perform better for active individuals.

Dr. Berger completed his fellowship in adult reconstruction at Rush University Medical Center, where he further honed his skills in hip and knee replacement surgery. He is also deeply involved in research focused on improving outcomes for hip and knee replacements, continuously seeking to enhance the effectiveness and minimize the recovery time of these procedures.

In his career, Dr. Berger has developed a range of specialized instruments and techniques, as well as innovative knee and hip implants, and he continues to play a pioneering role in the field of minimally invasive surgery.
