Show Notes
During October 17-21, the Batesville Community Schools (BCS) is going to "Scare Away Hunger" with a food drive for our Backpack Program. The Backpack Program provides another layer of support for children facing food insecurity.
Donations will be counted and kept at each participating campus: Preschool, Eagle Mountain, Sulphur Rock, West, WRA, and the Batesville Junior High School Charter (BJHSC).
Collect the most items…
⇢ For your campus: Pioneer Joe will be in your Halloween Parade
⇢ For your classroom: you'll receive a reward (TBD)
We will also be accepting donations on that Friday, October 21, at the home football game. There will be a donation box, which was made by the BJHSC advanced art students. (Donations from this location will be distributed throughout the district.)
Item collection: apple sauce cups, beef jerky, cereal, cereal bars, cheese and crackers, fruit cups, granola bars, individual oatmeal packets, mac and cheese, Pop-Tarts, pop-top soups, pudding, ramen, ravioli, Vienna sausages
