Learn about the upcoming literacy events with Literacy Specialist, Mollie Hill, and Mathematics Specialist, Alisha Inman-Cummings.
2nd Annual Scavenger Hunt, March 6 - April 1
Passports will be sent home with students, Kindergarten through 5th Grade -- if your child doesn't receive one, the passports will be available in your child's campus office.
5 locations throughout the city, where students will figure out riddles and receive stickers.
Once the passport is completed, the student can turn it in to be entered into a drawing for a Kindle -- the drawing will take place on April 3rd
"If All Arkansas Read the Same Book"
A competition across the state will have students read, "J.D. and the Great Barber Battle" by J. Dillard.
Teachers will read the book to students at school
There will be activities that go along with the storyline, which can be done at school and at home.
Partnered with EAST students who will record reading the book

At Riverside Park from 10 am to 12 pm
