Chris Papst is the lead investigative reporter for Project Baltimore, which is Fox 45 News' ongoing investigation into Maryland's public education system. What he tells us about what is going on in the public school systems will shock you! He shares some of what he has discovered during the 9 years that he has studied the school system and talks about what is really happening inside classrooms and behind administrative doors. It will shock many people to know that the school system does not prioritize educating kids - they prioritize funding the school. However, when a 38% funding increase only results in a 1% increase in graduation rate, you have to question the effectiveness of the system. Poor education for our kids means a degradation of the area and community, and Baltimore is a prime example.
