Inside Carriageworks sits a clothesline, a replica home, and a make-shift karaoke booth playing distant pop tunes.These ephemeral fragments are part of I Remember You, by Anglo-Australian and Fijian artist Salote Tawale. A collection of objects and sounds designed to ruminate on how identity is formed through memory, the show was conceived as a “memory bank” of – and by – the artist.
