Simon is a writer, broadcaster and playwright with extensive experience writing for digital platforms, the broadsheet press and magazines.


He has made documentaries, commentated on the arts, published books and had dramas presented on the stage.


His first book 'A Dangerous Place: The Story of the Railway Murders' was shortlisted for the CWA Gold Dagger Award for Non-Fiction.
