Recently, scientists have detected strange new lights in the northern sky - and they don’t fully understand what’s causing them. At first glance, they might look like auroras, but these lights behave differently. They flicker, stretch, and even appear in areas where auroras aren’t usually seen. Some researchers think they could be linked to unusual solar activity, while others suspect new atmospheric phenomena we’ve never recorded before.
