Scientists have discovered that Earth’s core is leaking into the mantle, and it’s raising some big questions. 🌍 The core, made mostly of iron and nickel, is supposed to stay locked away deep inside the planet, but tiny bits of it are escaping. 🤯 Some of this leaked material has even been found in volcanic rocks on the surface! 🌋 This means Earth's insides are slowly mixing in ways we never expected. Scientists are now wondering how much is leaking and what it could mean for our planet’s future. Could it change Earth’s magnetic field or even speed up cooling of the core? That’s what researchers are trying to figure out! 🔬
