I'd like to take you on a journey to one of them: this star is bright, easy to spot, shines with a somber hue and has a cool name... Betelgeuse. It's the nearest red supergiant star to our planet. Astronomers say one day it'll explode as a supernova, but when? And what if Betelgeuse replaced the Sun?
