Earth has a new "moon," and it's a mini-moon called 2020 CD3, about the size of a car. This temporary visitor is likely an asteroid that got caught by Earth's gravity, making it our new celestial companion. It won't be around forever, though, as it's expected to break free and continue its journey through the cosmos. Our mini-moon is a fascinating reminder of the dynamic dance between Earth and the objects that roam our solar system.
