What if God wants us to become something that we are not yet? Actually there's a promise that God has begun a good work in us and will carry it out to completion. But are we listening to when God speaks? Jesus actually says it is a reflection of our love for Him when we work to listen to when He speaks. We should wonder then, how is God's Word initiating change in my life? If it's not, are we listening to Him?

• Do you believe God wants you to become something that you are not yet? Why or why not?
• Are you really listening to Him? If so is anything holding you back from doing what He says? What steps can you take to overcome that?
